Under 10 Colts 3 - 1 ST JOHNS JUNIORS - Challenge Cup GOALSCORERS: Kieran Stannard (2) Jonathan Abbott M.O.M: Robin Dell REPORT: St Johns' set out their stall from the outset with three in defence and intrusion into the Allstars half limited to huge goal kicks from the goal keeper - route one. This allowed Allstars to play their passing game which they put to good use but with 3 sitters' being missed in a interesting first half we wondered whether it was going to be one of those days. The second half saw St Johns' take the lead early on but Allstars were spurred into action again with successive shots on goal from Chris Jary and Kieran Stannard piling on the pressure. A corner saw an equaliser from Jonathan Abbott, saving Allstars blushes and it was Allstars all the way for the rest of the half.

Extra time saw Allstars take the game away from St Johns' with 2 goals from Kieran Stannard supplied by Caleb Padurariu before half time. Few chances were created by St Johns' and in the end Allstars played the game out well.

Man of the Match was Robin Dell who was commanding again in defence and brave with it - coming off early after a kick in the face.Second game saw a goal rush from Nathan Finlay including the fastest Colts goal (and hat trick) this season. Straight from the kick off Finlay ran past the defence and netted the ball cool as anything in a matter of seconds. His hat trick was topped with another run past 3 or 4 of the opposition and a simple side pass from 2 yards. Allstars ran their luck a little at times but being 4-0 up from Matthew Nesbitt-Reay, Allstars kept making chances running on goal and St Johns' on the back foot. Man of the Match was Nathan Finlay for an inspiring performance.
