CASES heard by Cleveland Magistrates sitting at Teesside Magistrates’ Court in the last week include:

MICHAEL QUINN, 50, of Roworth Road, Middlesbrough, fined £40 for failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed after a period in prison.

KATIE MARIE WALTERS, 33, of Norton Road, Stockton fined £80 for failing to comply with supervision requirements of a suspended sentence.

MICHAEL ANTHONY FLOYD, 31, of The Bungalows, Grangetown, committed fraud by buying two cans of cola and two packets of cigarettes using a credit card that was not his. He was ordered to pay compensation of £19.76. On another occasion he stole fuel worth £100.01 from a Top Stop in Marske and failed to attend court whilst on police bail. He was told to pay a total of £275.01 in court fines and charges and 80-hours unpaid work.

JERMAINE COLIN LEON HASLAM, 42, of Esher Street, Middlesbrough, was told to pay a total of £157 in court fines and charges for possession of a Class C drug and failing to attend court whilst on police bail.

CALLUM JASON LINDSAY, 24, Portman Street, Middlesbrough, committed a string of shop thefts, breached a conditional discharge and failed to surrender to custody at court whilst on bail. He was ordered to pay a total of £157 in court fines and charges, given a community order with rehabilitation requirements and 60-hours unpaid work.

NAOMI THOMPSON, 38, of Elmwood Road, Eaglescliffe, drove with cocaine in her system. She was banned from driving for 12-months and ordered to pay a total of £357 in court fines and charges.

JOE LANGLEY, 28, of Spurn Walk, Hartlepool, assaulted a woman and was ordered to pay a total of £175 in court fines and charges.

KALEM LODGE, 30, of HMP Durham, Old Elvet, assaulted a woman and caused her actual bodily harm. Sent to prison for 18-weeks and ordered to pay compensation of £250.

MARTIN CORBETT, 59, of Union Street, Middlesbrough, was drunk and disorderly in Stockton. He was ordered to pay a total of £61 in court fines and charges.

LIAM GEOFFREY SAUL RICHMOND, 29, of Crescent, Middlesbrough, was found drunk on the A66 eastbound in Middlesbrough and failed to surrender to court whilst on bail. and ordered to pay a total of £157 in court fines and charges.

PAUL JOHNSON, 36, of Olliver Street, Redcar, sent four messages to a person he was banned from contacting under a non-molestation order. He was ordered to pay a total of £1,185 in court fines and charges.

JADE MELISSA BAILEY, 27, of Bretby Close, Middlesbrough, admitted to driving under the influence of drugs and driving without insurance. She was fined £120, with a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. She was also banned from driving for 18 months.

MATTHEW DRUM, 31, of Station Road, Middlesbrough, admitted to being in possession of a weapon, namely a homemade taser. He was given a community order and fined £120 with a victim surcharge of £90 and £85 costs. The weapon was forfeited and destroyed.

BEN HENRY, 34, of Norton Road, Stockton, admitted to assault by beating. He was given a community order and made to pay compensation of £250.

AIDEN KENNY, 18, of Kirkstall Court, New Skelton, admitted to assault of a police officer and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour. He was given a community order and made to pay compensation of £50. He was also fined £120 with a victim surcharge of £90 and £85 costs.

JANINE MCLOUGHLIN, 34, of Suggitt Street, Hartlepool, admitted to stealing clothing worth £120.91 from TK Maxx and polo shirts to the value of £300 from TJ Hughes. She was given a community order and made to pay a total of £300 in compensation.

NATASHA DOCHERTY, 30, of Edgehill Way, Billingham, fined a total of £672 in court charges and costs for failing to ensure her children regularly attended school.

RACHEL MCSHANE, 39, Petrel Crescent, Norton, Stockton, fined a total of £380 in court charges and costs for failing to ensure her child regularly attended school.

STEVEN ALLAN MACK, 39, of Langley Avenue, Thornaby, used distressing words and behaviour towards a woman and was given an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 18-months. He was also given a drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered to pay a total of £162 in court charges and costs.

CAMERON RICHARD BARROWS, 27, of Sedgebrook Gardens, Middlesbrough, was caught drug driving a Transit van on the A19 without a licence or insurance. He was ordered to pay a total of £130 in court charges and costs, disqualified from driving for 12-months and put under a community order.
