POLICE have recovered a number of items believed to have been stolen from vehicles and properties in the Hartlepool area.
Several bottles of alcohol, designer sunglasses, work tools in a case, a diagnostic tool, a laptop and a boxed Pandora bracelet were recovered.
Officers hoping to track down their rightful owners said the items may have been taken from vehicles or houses around Brierton Lane, Sinclair Road, Longfellow Walk and Fletcher Walk in Hartlepool.
At the weekend, police said a 31-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary.
Urging members of the public to help track down the owners, a Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Anyone who thinks that the items may belong to them is asked to contact PC Lorene Haworth from Hartlepool CID on the non-emergency number 101. "
The 31-year-old arrested in connection has since been released under investigation while further enquiries take place.
