EIGHTEEN new ambulance service vehicles have taken to the roads of North Yorkshire.
The vehicles are a mixture of emergency ambulances and rapid response vehicles. Some are replacements and others are additions to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service fleet.
Mick Farmer, assistant director of the ambulance service, said: "Replacing some of our older vehicles with brand new ones helps us to serve our patients better with a more modern and reliable fleet."
