Middleton Rangers U13 'A' 2 Thirsk Falcons 3 Middleton lost in the league in a very competitive close game, going a goal up within the first five minutes through a terrific interception dribble and shot by Luke Allenby.Further chances were spurned however and with half time approaching Thirsk grabbed two goals to turn the game on it's head to lead 2-1 at the break.

After the re start Rangers stormed back creating numerous chances but were thwarted by some terrific and at times desperate defending untill from an acute angle Conner Goodfellow majestically lobbed the keeper to draw the teams level.Despite dominating most of the second half Ranger's couldn't convert their chances and paid the price as Thirsk again took the lead with ten minutes to go to take all three points.Man of the match was Haydn Mckenna for a great performance in Middleton's defence.

Middleton Ranger 0 SWE 3 Middleton go another week without a victory after a mediocre football match away to Stockton West End. SWE started with the run of the pitch in their favour and used it to full advantage with a few long direct balls over the midfield which Rangers found hard to defend against. Rangers tried to play the offside trap but were unsuccesful and found themselves 2-0 down early in the game and seem to be down hearted with only a few players looking like they wanted it and the result showed it! SWE piled the pressure throughout the game and could have scored on numerous occasions if it wasn't for the heroic saves from GoalKeeper Patrick Reynard who eventually had to leave the park after coming off worse from a challenge on the end of the box. Rangers scored in the second half only to have the goal disallowed for offside and never really challenged SWE after that. SWE played good basic football and carried some good pace up front which Rangers had trouble dealing with. Man of the match for Middleton Rangers - Patrick Reynard.

Middleton Rangers Under10 A team played host to Cumby Rovers.Rangers played some excellent passing football and created some good goal scoring opportunities.Harry , Connor P and Ben defended well when called upon but also pushed play forwards to help Connor W , Aidan R and Saafi up front.Rangers took the lead with a fierce low driving freekick from Aidan R.The team continued link well and Josh made some good saves. In the second half Rangers changed things about with the introduction of Aiden K , Alistair , Haani and Joe and continued to battle hard against an ever pressing Cumby and must surely have thought they were heading to their first win of the season but Cumby pounced in the dying seconds of the game to secure a point.

Man of the Match Harry Notman Team Aiden k , Aidan R , Alistair , Ben , Connor P , ,Connor W , Haani , Harry , Joe , Josh , Saafi.

The second game was more of the same with plenty of chances on either side Cumby took the lead but Rangers fought back and thought they had equalised but Cumby were judged to have cleared it off the line. Finally Rangers passing did pay off with Saafi slotting the ball home to make it honours even.

Middleton Rangers U10"B" vs Castleton Rangers Middleton started the match rather slow, they didn't come out of the blocks very well and were not controlling the game. Midway in the first half, Middleton started to show some skill and a lovely double from Lewis Rees put Rangers 2 0 up at half time.
