STAFF at a supermarket will be able to claim up to £650 a year as part of a company discount scheme.
The 231 people who work at Morrisons, in Consett, will have a share in a £150,000 annual benefit from Monday.
Staff discount cards will enable them to shop with the supermarket and save money on the company's extensive range of 25,000 own-label and branded products.
Staff will also get a second card, so another person nominated by the employee can take advantage of their discount.
