THERE were spooky goings on at a hair salon when staff dressed up for Halloween to raise money for charity.
Staff from Hair Haus and Beauty, in Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland donned witch, skeleton and monster outfits to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
The salon held a raffle during the day and is running a promotion, where it will give £10 to the charity for every pair of GHD hair straighteners it sells.
Salon manager Mark McHale said: "We do as much as possible to help charity and thought we would get into the spirit of Halloween and raise some more for a good cause. It has certainly been a good laugh and the costumes look really good.
"We have done all sorts of things to help the charity. Some staff here even completed a skydive in the summer, where we raised over £2,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care."
