POLICE have released CCTV stills of two masked men they would like to identify after thousands of pounds and a charity box were stolen in an early-morning burglary at a KFC store.
The incident, which happened at the fast food store on the Lanyard in Hartlepool, took place between 3.45am and 4.30am on Sunday, October 20.
Police investigating the incident said thousands of pounds worth of cash and a charity box containing around £200 was taken from the scene.
One suspect, pictured in the CCTV image, was wearing a G-Star jacket, while it's believed the pair of men made off towards Church Street after the burglary.
Days after the incident, Cleveland Police launched a dash-cam footage appeal to those who may have driving in the area, at the time.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Anyone with information regarding the men or anyone with dash-cam or CCTV footage from the Church Street area of Hartlepool between 03:30am and 04:30am on Sunday 20th October is asked to contact PC Leon Webster from Cleveland Police on 101, quoting event number 180726."
It is believed the timings on the store's CCTV footage is not accurate.
