THOUSANDS of spectators enjoyed watching the skies light up as fireworks displays went off with a bang across the region.
Visitors to Darlington’s Northern Echo Arena were treated to fairground rides, food stalls and entertainment along with a display. Entry was by online ticket only and organisers reported that it had sold out several hours before.
