POLICE are looking for a burglar who targeted the same family twice in five days.
The man is alleged to have stolen two laptops computers from the house in Esh, near Durham.
A reward of £1,000 has been offered for information which leads to a successful prosecution.
Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with in two incidents, which happened this month.
The first incident happened just before 10.50am on Wednesday, October 2. A man, wearing a blue or purple jacket went to the secluded property, and after failing to get an answer at the front door, went to the back where he smashed a window and entered the house.
He took a laptop and left in the direction of New Brancepeth.
Police suspect the same man returned to the property at around 2pm on Tuesday, October 8, when he was wearing a blue and white hoody and black trainers.
Again, he rang the doorbell before moving to the back of the house, smashing a window and stealing a white Apple Mac computer. He left in the direction of Esh.
Crimestoppers are offering a £1,000 reward for information leading to a successful prosecution.
