A 'SUSPICIOUS incident' which saw a man approach a two-year-old child is being investigated by police.
Officers are appealing for dash cam and CCTV footage after the incident, on a cut close to a school on Tithe Barn Road in Hardwick, Stockton at about 9.05am, on Monday.
It was reported that a man had approached the toddler before a woman, who was with the child, intervened, and the man ran away.
The man is described as being a white male with a large nose and he was wearing glasses, dark coloured joggers and a dark hoody.
