A MAN who was allegedly forced into a car on a busy Middlesbrough street has been found safe and well, police have confirmed.
Officers from Cleveland Police have now spoken with a man who they were looking to trace in connection with an incident on Bedford Street in Middlesbrough on Saturday, October 12.
"Five men were arrested on suspicion of kidnap in connection with the incident and have all been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Officers have now spoken with a man who they were looking to trace in connection with an incident on Bedford Street in Middlesbrough on Saturday, October 12
"Police can confirm that the man is safe and well.
"Five men were arrested on suspicion of kidnap in connection with the incident and have all been bailed whilst enquiries continue."
