A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital via air ambulance after colliding with a BMW near Darlington.
A Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle and a white BMW Coupe were travelling along the B6279 when the accident happened shortly after 12pm on Saturday, October 12.
Darlington Police said: "It is believed the rider of the motorcycle collided with the vehicle when attempting to overtake the BMW which was turning right onto Walworth Road.
"The rider was taken via air ambulance to James Cook University Hospital with serious injuries.
"Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the collision is asked to contact PC Wells on 101 quoting incident number 201 of October 12."
