POLICE are appealing for information following a serious assault in Darlington which caused a man to jump out of a window.
Officers from Darlington police believe two men attended Woodland Terrace shortly after 8.30am on Friday, August 23, where they requested to speak with the occupant of a flat.
The men were allowed access through the communal door and, once inside the upstairs flat, the suspects allegedly became abusive towards the victim and punched him multiple times to the face.
In an attempt to escape, the victim jumped out of a window causing serious injury to his legs.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to call Darlington CID on 101 quoting reference number 82 of August 23.
