A MAN and woman have been arrested after windows at three homes were broken.
The man, 18, and woman, 22, were arrested following reports of criminal damage to properties on Stranton Street in Thornaby, near Stockton.
Police said they recovered a hammer, stanley knife and two other knives, when the arrests were made.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article, possession of an offensive weapon and three counts of criminal damage.
While the woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
The pair currently remain in police custody.
