A ROAD in Darlington was blocked last night after a lorry crashed into a fence.
Durham Police attended the crash, which happened around 11.15pm, on Whinfield Road in Darlington.
The driver of the lorry only suffered minor injuries, according to police.
The lorry was cleared just before 2am.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: "We were called at 11.15pm yesterday to reports that one vehicle, a lorry, had collided with a fence.
"The driver suffered minor injuries and nobody was taken to hospital.
"The vehicle was recovered just before 2am."
