POLICE have discovered two cannabis farms with a combined value of around £300,000 as part of a crackdown on illegal drugs activity.

The cannabis farms were found at two addresses on Kindersley Street and Deacon Street in North Ormesby, near Middlesbrough on Wednesday.

As part of Operation Sentinel, officers from Cleveland Police's Community Drug Enforcement Team found more than 360 cannabis plants with an estimated value of £300,000 during the raids.
