THE next generation of England players are on view in North Yorkshire on Tuesday.

England under-19s, who are building up to next years' Euro 2008 Championship and FIFA Under-20s Women's World Cup, meet France in a cross-channel friendly at Harrogate Town's Wetherby Road ground, at 7.45pm.

Sunderland goalkeeper Helen Alderson, who has saved penalties in her last two club appearances, is in Mo Marley's 16-strong squad, along with the Leeds quartet of Sophie Bradley, Sophie Walton, Jess Clarke and Gemma Bonner, to add to Yorkshire interest.

Tickets, costing £3 for adults, and £1 concessions for under-16s and OAPs, can be booked by ringing (01423) 883671. There are also school group booking opportunities for 15 or more tickets, at 50p each.

Meanwhile, at the even younger level, three North-East players are in England's under-17 squad for qualifying matches in coming days for the first ever European Championship in the age category.

Sunderland's Lucy Bronze and Demi Stokes, plus Middlesbrough's Jordan Nobbs, feature in Lois Fidler's side which meets hosts Georgia, plus Slovakia and Russia in Group Ten qualifiers over the coming week.
