OFFICERS investigating a theft of a bicycle at the University of Sunderland have released an image of a man they would like to trace.
Between 11.30am and 12pm on July 20, it was reported that a man approached a bike that had been left outside City Space on Chester Road and cut off the lock.
The man then stole the black Carrera bike, worth approximately £300, and rode off.
An investigation has been launched, and as part of their enquiries, police have identified a man they would like to speak to.
He was seen in the area at the time and may have information that can assist officers with their enquiries.
The man, or anyone who recognises him, is asked to call 101 quoting reference 546 200719 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
