A "devastated" couple have offered a cash reward to try and catch those reponsible for the theft of two vintage motorbikes.
The distinctive bikes were taken from a shed at an address in Finchale Road, Durham, on July 9.
The couple who own them have now offered a £500 reward for information which leads to the safe return of the vehicles.
Detective Constable Leanne Howe, of Durham Police, said: “These bikes are extremely important to the couple who own them. They are devastated they have been taken.
“I am appealing to the public to get in touch with any information they might have as this may be what we need to reunite the motorbikes with their rightful owners.
“A £500 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the safe return of the motorbikes and conviction of those responsible.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call Durham Police on 101, quoting incident 64 of July 9.
