A MAN has been arrested after a gun was fired after a 'drive-by' shooting at a house by a motorbike.
Cleveland Police were called to a report of the shooting incident on Windmill Terrace, Norton, Stockton at around 5.30pm by a rider on a green Kawasaki Ninja motorbike.
Officers launched an immediate investigation and carried out a number of enquiries on Wren Street in Stockton, Wolviston Road in Billingham and Poplar Road in Thornaby.
A man, 19, was arrested in connection with the incident and he has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A spokeswoman said: "This is a fast paced investigation and officers will be continuing to carry out a number of enquiries in the local area and there is believed to be no threat to the wider public."
Officers are still appealing for anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV in the area of the incident to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting event number 133861.
