POLICE are investigating after more than £117,000 worth of juicers were stolen from an industrial estate on Friday.

Police said thieves managed to cut their way into an industrial unit on Harrier Court, Elvington near York, at some point between 5pm on Thursday and 8.45am on Friday.

Thieves reportedly removed the industrial unit's cladding, before making a hole in the wall that was big enough for them to gain access.

A "large number" of juicers were then stolen from the site, which police said they had launched an appealing for the public's assistance to aid their investigation.

A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said: "Officers are appealing for information about suspicious activity around Elvington airfield industrial estate around the time of the burglary.

"They are also appealing for information about anyone with a large number of juicers who may have been trying to sell them."
