Police are hunting for arsonists after three cars were set alight in West Cornforth
POLICE are appealing for information following a spate of arsons in West Cornforth near Spennymoor.
Three vehicles were set alight shortly after midnight on Monday.
Two of the vehicles were parked on village High Street when they were targeted, the third was parked on Salisbury Crescent.
The suspect is described as wearing dark clothing with distinctive red gloves and is believed to be driving a white Vauxhall Astra.
Anyone with information in relation to these incidents should contact Durham Police on 101 quoting reference numbers 7 and 12 of July 15.
