ANYONE who thought a day at the cricket would be uneventful should have a rethink, after the World Cup matches at Durham were filled with incident - on and off the field.
Last Friday a swarm of bees halted play in the game between South Africa and Sri Lanka, forcing the players and umpires to lie face down on the pitch.
Then on Monday, global pop star Rihanna turned up to cheer on the West Indies as the side took on Sri Lanka. They fell short of a victory, but it wasn't for a lack of support from the stands.
The Barbadian singer was seen shouting her team on throughout.
And today, crowds watching England take on New Zealand in their crucial game witnessed a streaker giving security a run around on the pitch.
