A MOTORCYCLIST is in hospital after a crash on Friday evening.

The 41-year-old man, who was riding a motorbike in the South Bank area of Middlesbrough, is receiving treatment for a fracture to his neck after he crashed into a fence.

The incident happened on Friday, June 21 at about 5.50pm. He was taken to James Cook University Hospital.
