THE Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire is urging people to get involved before a public accountability meeting focussing on mental health.
The next public accountability meeting, which will take place on Tuesday, June 25, will be broadcast in real-time online.
PCC Julia Mulligan said she was urging members of the public to ask questions during the meeting via social media, and send their questions ahead of the meeting.
PCC Muligan said: "These meetings give members of the public and staff the opportunity to understand the performance of both services and hear what they are doing to keep us safe and feeling safe.
“I encourage everyone to join in and watch, and if you have a question, please ask it.”
During the meeting, the chief fire officer and chief constable will update the PCC with their efforts on reducing mental health issues amongst fire and police staff.
