Police are appealing for witnesses after an 84-year-old man was involved in a collision with a bus in Sunderland
A PENSIONER is in a serious condition after being hit by a bus this morning. (Sunday, June 16)
Just before 9am, emergency services attended a report of an accident at the juntion of Peel Street and Toward Street, in Sunderland.
An 84-year-old male pedestrian who had been involved in a collision with a bus was taken to hospital.
His condition has been described as serious but stable and his family has been informed.
Northumbria police has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
