POLICE have launched an investigation this morning to track down the owners of a vehicle following a fire.
Sgt Paul Cording, from the Roads Policing Team at North Yorkshire Police, said he was called to assist with the vehicle fire, which happened in Boroughbridge, near Ripon, alongside North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service last night.
Sgt Cording said he suspected the vehicle was stolen.
He added: "My colleagues at North Yorkshire Police will continue enquiries to identify the vehicle."
