ROADS are reopening around a Darlington car park after a serious police incident.
A man was on the roof of the Feethams multi-storey car park, close to the cinema complex, making threats to harm himself, at lunchtime.
However police negotiators are understood to have talked him down from the roof and he is safe and well.
There was a heavy police presence in the town centre and several roads closed off, near to the Barker & Stonehouse shop.
