A MAN was punched in the face outside a pub in Crook leaving him with a broken nose.
The incident happened at about 1am on Monday, May 6, in Hope Street, outside the Kings Head pub.
The victim - a man in his twenties – was punched in the face by an unknown man who then made off from the scene, leaving him with the injury.
Officers are appealing for witnesses following the assault.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call PC Laura Ward at Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting crime reference number CRI00195259.
