A CRASH has left a teenager with serious internal injuries after he fell off his scooter near Redworth village.
The incident happened just after 7.30am on Monday, April 15, southbound on the A6072.
Officers have renewed their plea for information following the crash.
It is believed the rider of a SYM JET scooter was travelling along the carriageway when he fell from the bike on a right hand turn and collided with a kerb and roadside furniture.
The rider was taken to The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 44 of April 15.
