A MOTORCYCLIST who died after crashing into a lamppost has been named by police.
David Brown, from the Grangetown area, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after crashing on Trunk Road in Middlesbrough on Friday, April 12.
The crash happened at about 6.05pm near Cleveland Retail Park.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: "Our thoughts remain with David’s family and friends at this difficult time."
