A MAN is being sought by police in connection with a burglary in Fishburn on Monday, April 15.
Just after 9pm, a woman in her 50s disturbed a man who had just sneaked through the back door of her home in Bridge View.
The man allegedly stole a brown leather purse, before running off in the direction of Millfield Road.
The suspect is described as being aged in his 20s and thick set, but with receding hair.
He was wearing a light jacket, with a white T-shirt and black trousers.
Anyone with information is asked to ring PC Mike Hutchinson at South Durham CID or 101, quoting reference 471 of April 15.
