TWO would-be robbers fled empty handed when they attacked a woman last month.
The 43-year-old victim was confronted by the suspects as she walked on Oxbridge Lane in Stockton at 9.30pm on Thursday, March 28.
As she was under the bridge near to the stair well, she was approached by two men who demanded cash from her and pushed her into the brick steps.
Cleveland Police said a member of the public who was close by intervened and the two men ran off in the direction of Aldi empty handed.
