A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has reported being bitten on the leg by a dog as he walked along a residential street in Darlington.
The schoolboy was out walking at around 7.30pm on April 14 when he passed a man walking a “bullmastiff type” dog that was controlled on a lead on Richmond Close, in the West Park area of town.
A Darlington Police spokesman said: “The dog was being controlled on a lead and was being walked by a male described as being quite tall with dark hair.
“If you can help identify the owner of this dog or have any further information regarding this incident please contact 101 and quote Incident reference DHM-15042019-0140.”
