A SUSPECTED drug driver has been arrested after crashing his van into a lamppost.
Officers from Cleveland and Durham Roads Policing Unit made the arrest in Middlesbrough.
One of the officers wrote on Twitter: "This van driver made off from Police on Acklam Road and crashed on The Crescent, Middlesbrough.
"Fortunately only his vehicle, a lamp post and a garden wall suffered any damage and no one was injured.
"He was arrested for dangerous driving and drug driving."
