A YOUNG girl has suffered minor injuries after being knocked over by a car.
Cleveland Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision involving the 7-year-old girl on Homerton Road in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened between 9.20am and 9.35am on Tuesday, April 2 near to Pallister Park Primary School, involving a red car.
The driver did stop at the scene.
The girl was later taken to James Cook University Hospital with an injury to her mouth.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact PC Matt Carter from Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 054670. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
