POLICE are appealing for information following a "spate of thefts" from trucks at a service station and on the A66 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Items were reportedly stolen from parked lorries at Barton Services, near the A1(M) in North Yorkshire, and on the A66 Eastbound, near Gilling West, between 2am and 2.15am.
A spokeswoman for North Yorkshire Police said: "The incidents happened between 2am and 2.15am, during which time, the vehicle curtain sides were cut and property stolen.
"Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch."
