A STUDENT competing in a local beauty pageant is hoping to raise as much money as they can for a hospice.
Ellie Adamson, a sixth form A-level student from Darlington, has made it to the finals of Miss Tees Valley 2019.
As part of the competition the 17-year-old is fundraising for Zoë's Place, a baby hospice in Middlesbrough.
The first-time contestant will be collecting for the hospice at other local beauty pageants and will be doing fundraisers such as cake sales and sponsored runs.
She has also set up a justgiving page for people to donate to the cause.
More information about how to donate can be found at justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ellie-adamson
