A MAN is being hunted by police following a knifepoint robbery in Stockton.
Police want to speak to a man seen close to the Sure Pure Store in Prince Regent Street at around the time of the robbery, on Monday, March 11 at about 4pm.
The shopworker was held at knifepoint and handed over £60 to the thief, who is described as being a white male, of large build, 20 stone or more, in his 30s, with stubble and dark hair on top with a shaved head at the sides.
He was wearing a dark tracksuit.
After the incident he is believed to have crossed the road and made his way towards Lodge Street.
The staff member was uninjured.
Anyone with information regarding the incident or the man shown in the CCTV images is asked to call 101.
