To celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2019, Catterick Leisure Centre is opening its doors for a one-day Festival of Fitness, featuring the launch of the latest Les Mills programmes.
During the course of Saturday, April 6, members and non-members can come in and try out the classes to find out what’s new at the Centre, and find out what works for them.
The staff will be unveiling the brand-new BodyPump, BodyAttack and GRIT Series of exercise classes devised by former Olympic athlete, Les Mills - a highly-respected fitness guru who has been getting the world fit since he opened his first gym in the 60s.
The team at Catterick are fully-trained in all the programme’s techniques and have regular updates about what’s new in the world of fitness.
The Centre’s Fitness Manager, Ashleigh Bennett, says: “Every 3 Months we introduce the latest Les Mills releases on the Studio timetable. The Les Mills programme is the benchmark for safe, effective fitness classes around the world.
“Our staff deliver the classes with the knowledge that they are presenting the most up-to-date programmes, which keeps it fresh and interesting for our customers.”
Tickets are on sale now for the day of the Festival of Fitness, which will run between 9am and 5pm - and they’re selling fast. It promises to be bigger and better than any previous launch, with, not only the Les Mills disciplines available, but also Studio Cycling and Pilates included, so there really is something for everyone.
Members will pay £10 to select up to five classes from the twelve available. Non-members are also welcome, at a cost of £15, which also includes up to five classes. Any individual class will be charged at £3.50.
The Centre is also running free 20-minute, one-to-one sessions with personal trainers, which don’t have to be booked in advance. Just come in on the day, and ask to speak to a PT.
All other facilities will be open as normal.
