FOUR women were involved in a brawl in the car park outside a village pub.
The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Two of the women suffered minor injuries following the incident, which happened in the car park of The Kings Inn, in Cockfield, near Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance outside the pub at about 1am.
It is believed an argument took place inside the pub which led to a physical altercation in the car park.
Following the disturbance, two of the four women made off while two remained on scene with minor injuries.
PC Sarah Thompson, from Bishop Auckland Police’s response team said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
“Please call us with information on 101 quoting reference number 22 of February 16.”
