A DRIVER was taken to hospital after being seriously injured in a three-car crash.
The serious road traffic collision took place at around 10pm on February 19 on the A19 at its junction with Sowerby, Thirsk in North Yorkshire.
A Mercedes, Ford Fiesta and an Alfa Romeo were involved.
The driver of the Fiesta sustained serious injuries and was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, Teesside.
The driver and passenger of the Mercedes car were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road was closed to allow emergency services attend the scene, but reopened later.
- Witnesses are being urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, and select option 1 if they have information which could assist with enquiries.
