FAMILIES are set to enjoy a range of events this half term at a County Durham museum.
The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle is offering visitors the chance to explore the old curiosity shop in the Sold exhibition where they can enjoy recreating some of the treasures on show.
Visitors can also find out what life was like in the trenches during a WW1 session. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.
The museum will also be embracing wildlife as it hosts a furry and scaly family fun day
allowing the public to explore the museum with an animal themed trail.
Entry is free to all events with admission to the museum.
