THE driver of a vehicle which struck and injured a pedestrian is sought by police.
Newton Aycliffe police said the female suffered leg injuries when she was hit by a vehicle as she crossed the A167 near Newton Aycliffe.
The incident happened at about 4.15pm on Tuesday, January 15, at the Rushyford roundabout.
A spokesperson said: "The driver of the vehicle did stop however details were not obtained by the female. "Could the driver of this vehicle or anyone with any information please contact PC 2701 Cattermole on 101."
