A 61-YEAR-OLD man was attacked by masked men in his home.
The raiders are being sought by police after the aggravated burglary in Richmond, North Yorkshire on Wednesday morning.
The incident happened on Wellesleys Mews, near Penn Road and Quaker Lane, at around 6.30am.
The victim contacted police to report two masked men had gained access to his property and threatened him with a knife.
It is believed that the thieves left empty-handed and made off from the property possibly in the direction of Quaker Lane.
The homeowner was left with small lacerations to his finger and toe and very shaken from the incident.
Both men are thought to be in their 20s, of thin build and were wearing black clothing, black shoes and had their faces concealed by a mask or knitted scarves.
