A CAR crash involving a pedestrian and one vehicle has sparked a police appeal for information and for witnesses to come forward.
A pedestrian sustained minor injuries after being hit by a Volkswagen Passat in Darlington on Saturday, January 5.
The person involved in the crash was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital to assess their injuries while the driver of the Passat did not sustain any injuries.
The incident happened at around 7.20pm on High Northgate, outside the BP Snax 24 Garage.
Darlington Police officers investigating the incident are now being asked to contact the police with any information.
Dashcam footage of the crash or footage of High Northgate near the garage just prior to the incident can also contact the police with their clips.
Witnesses or drivers with footage are asked to contact PC 335 Ruck, by calling non-emergency number 101, quoting incident reference 359 of January 5.
