POLICE have arrested a motorist for suspected drug driving after a car overturned and crashed through a fence at Castle Eden, in east Durham.
The Durham Road Policing unit tweeted a photograph of a blue car on its side, at about 12.20pm on Tuesday.
Officers said: "A car has overturned on the B1281 Castle Eden. We are awaiting recovery."
Minutes later they tweeted: "Following the single vehicle collision on the B1281, the driver has failed a drug wipe and has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving. On route to custody."
