A ROAD is now open following a two-vehicle crash which blocked the carriageway near Newton Aycliffe.
Officers were called to reports of a the collision on the A167, near McDonald's, on Monday afternoon.
The incident involving a Mercedes skip loader and a DAF Truck happened at 2.10pm.
Emergency services attended and one driver was checked out by paramedics but it is not believed he suffered any significant injuries.
The road reopened at 4.45pm.
