A BUSINESSMAN is offering a £1,000 reward for information following an arson attack on his premises.
Freddy Bourdais, owner of Plastic Mouldings Northern Ltd, is offering the reward for any information leading to a conviction following the incident at the premises in the South Church Enterprise Park, in Bishop Auckland, at about 5.15pm on Sunday.
A Durham Constabulary spokeswoman confirmed the police are treating the fire as arson.
She said: "Officers were called to the blaze, which happened at around 5.15pm on January 6, by colleagues from County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service.
"Anyone with any information on the incident should call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 303 of January 6."
